Common things

I can't sign in

WaxOn signs in with Strava, so check you can log in at strava.com first, then try again. If you've connected before and it's suddenly refusing, disconnect WaxOn in your Strava settings and reconnect — that re-issues the permissions.

My ride distance isn't showing up

Kilometres only count when the ride was recorded on the bike you imported — the ride's gear on Strava has to match. Check the ride has the right bike attached, then tap the sync chip at the top of the dashboard to pull again.

If you fixed a ride's gear after uploading it, WaxOn moves the distance to the correct bike on its own, as long as you do it within about two days. After that the numbers are locked in.

The counter looks wrong

Open the bike's history. Every wax, degrease and reminder check is listed with its distance, and the ✕ removes anything logged by mistake. Remove the most recent one and the counter it reset is restored.

I'm not getting notifications

Check WaxOn is allowed to send notifications in your phone's settings — there's a prompt on the dashboard if it isn't. Then check you haven't muted the person whose bike it is: the bell on their row under "Bikes I service". Chains sitting on the shelf never alert, by design.

Someone shared a bike and I can't see it

Share codes work once and expire after seven days, so ask for a fresh one if it's been sitting a while. Enter it with the + under "Bikes I service", or scan their QR with your camera.

Delete my account

Settings → Delete account. Everything goes immediately — bikes, chains, history, the lot. Disconnecting WaxOn from your Strava account does the same thing.
