Delete your account
You can delete your WaxOn account and everything in it at any time — from inside the app, or here in your browser without installing anything.
Delete it on the web
You'll confirm who you are with Strava (WaxOn has no password of its own), then see exactly what will be removed before anything happens.
Or from inside the app
Open Settings → Delete account. Same result, same instant. Disconnecting WaxOn in your Strava settings also deletes everything.
What gets deleted
- Your account — the display name and avatar URL Strava gave us, and the Strava access tokens we hold for you.
- Every bike and chain you own, with all wax, lube, degrease and service history.
- Service links in both directions: bikes you shared with a mechanic, and bikes someone shared with you.
It happens immediately and there is no recovery step — we keep no backup copy of a deleted account. If you use WaxOn again later, it starts empty.
What it doesn't touch
Your Strava account and your rides. WaxOn only ever reads the distance of your activities — never routes, locations or health data — and deleting here changes nothing on Strava.
If you share bikes
Deleting your account revokes any access you granted, so a mechanic you shared a bike with loses it. If you are the mechanic, the owner keeps their bike and history — only your link to it goes.
